Pymble House

This home was located in a quiet upper north shore suburb and was surrounded by 2 storey heritage homes with ornate styling. Because of this, the original house did not sit comfortably in the area. The owners wanted to improve the home's street appeal whilst utilising the northerly aspect.

A first floor extension was added with lightweight materials including recycled polystyrene/cement cladding. The whole house was then rendered to marry the original house with the new addition.

Internal walls were removed to allow the northern sunlight to extend into living areas. The owners are very happy with the result and now enjoy living in this elegant home.
